ABOUT

Hi There!.png

I'm Marley, owner and creator of

Trail Her on the Prairie.

My main mission is to inspire women across the nation to enjoy the treasure hunt of the thrift store; manifest those staple clothing pieces; and curate a wardrobe (and home) to be proud of and keeping within a tiny budget

I am a Central Alberta Gal, mom, wife, child of God. I am a thrifting queen, budget-friendly cook, and I want to share all of the passions, trials and successes of acreage life with an ever growing like-minded community.

I have been thrifting with my mom and sister for as long as I can remember. I haven't always loved it, and went through a phase of buying ONLY brand new, and it was cheap "once and done" clothing. And of course I remember being horribly embarrassed by ugly faded floral winter boots that my mom had thrifted for me way back in Grade 3.

I have been actively thrifting for several years now, hunting for specific items, furniture and prepper kitchen utensils, like a hand crank egg beater, or crusty old cast iron pieces in need of some major TLC.

am here to share why and how I thrift, what my clothing scheme is, and what pieces to look for to paint or upcycle, and finding some staple items suitable for prepping I can't wait to share all that I have learned with you and it is my dream to inspire others to curate their own homes and wardrobes all while keeping within the thrifting budget
